Weekly Services

Each week at Parkside we hold various services, some of which are designed to help explain what Christians believe and others to help those of us who are Christians already to grow in the faith.

Regular services are listed below.

Sunday
9:45am – Breaking of Bread
This is a time where we get together as Christians to remember the Lord Jesus and culminates in the taking of bread and wine which symbolise the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We use Hymns of Light and Love and also have an additional supplement of more modern hymns and choruses.

11:30am - Sunday Club
This is for children aged 3+.  To start with there is a time of singing before the children split out into groups to learn stories from the Bible and do small activities.  On the first Sunday of each month there is a Family Service instead of Sunday Club. 

5:30pm – Evening Service
This service is open to everyone and anyone.  There is a short time of singing followed by a speaker explaining a portion of the Bible.  The service lasts for about 45 minutes. 

Tuesday
2:30pm – Ladies Meeting
An informal time for ladies to get together to sing choruses and read and search passages from the Bible. The time finishes with a short talk by a speaker.

8.00pm – Bible Teaching
The purpose of this service is to explain in more detail passages of the Bible, also to show and help Christians lead their lives in the way the Bible teaches.  Occasionally they will be a discussion on certain passages from the Bible.  Where possible, we will try and tweet from these meetings.

Wednesday
9.45am – Parkside Toddler Group
A time for the under-fives (with accompanied adults) to enjoy playing, drinks and a story.  We often get around 20 children and a lively and fun time is guaranteed!

Thursday
8.00pm – Prayer Meeting
A time for us to come together to pray for needs of the church and issues in the world.  If you have anything specific you would like us to pray for, please enter them here.

Friday
7.30pm – Friday Club 
Designed for children age 10+, we have a variety of activities including games, walks, bowling and craft.  We regularly attract up to 20+ children.  This is normally held fortnightly.

Family Services
These are held on the first Sunday of each month at 11.30am. See here for more details.
 

Other Activities
We have a number of special activities planned throughout the year, including Maidenhead Carnival in June and Coffee in the Park in addition to our monthly Winter Conferences.
